¡Hola a todos!
My name is Allison Hencke and I love Jesus and coffee. I spent 2015 year serving with Adventures in Missions’ The World Race traveling through Central and South America. Since returning on Thanksgiving of 2015 I spent the next eight months ATL-ing (Asking the Lord) life and following where the Holy Spirit leads. I was blessed with many months of visiting old friends, making new friends and catching up with family I have not seen in years. It has been eight months of experiencing the Lord’s redemption, heal wounds, pour out grace and coat lives with His mercy.
While I’ve pretty much lived each moment of 2016 not knowing what the next day or week holds, or even where I might sleep, the Lord has shown me what the next nine months of my life will entail. I will be returning to partner with Adventures in Missions serving as an Alumni Squad Leader for their Gap Year program! I cannot wait to partner with missionaries, churches and other organizations around the globe once more and invest and pour out into the lives of 50+ 18-21 year olds.
This blog contains the journey of my own World Race adventure in 2015 but I would like to invite you to follow along at my current blog as I testify to God’s goodness and the ways He is healing hearts and bringing His Kingdom on earth in the coming months: For the Love of Coffee and Rainbows
Much love and thank you so much for your support!
Cheers,
Allison
