Dear Family and Friends,
For the past two years I have been torn with the decision of what I should do after graduation, and my heart lead me to a path that I never thought was possible! With prayer and the support of my family and friends I have decided that my future will take me on a different path than most. In September I will be leaving on a nine month mission trip to El Salvador, Malawi, and the Philippines with the Adventures in Missions organization which is part of The World Race. I will be in each country for three months spreading the word of God, and working with orphanages, churches, and hospitals in need of help. This past year has been one of the toughest years for me, I was completely lost until I turned to God. I truly believe that without the support of God my struggles would not have become easier. The love and comfort I feel is something I am determined to share with people that are in need of it. I have never felt more sure of what I was called to do than right now, and I’m looking forward to not only doing the work of God but going through this life changing experience that I will never forget.
I pray and trust that God will supply me with the knowledge, faith, guidance, and finances that I will need for this mission trip. The total balance of the trip including airfare, housing, and food for nine months comes down to $12,491. I am strongly encouraged to meet three deadlines given to me before my launch date in September, so I will be fundraising and hoping for donations from now until I leave. I am not only asking for financial help but for love and prayer as I prepare for this journey. Adventures In Missions is a tax-exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) and is a member of the ECFA. (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability). Due to IRS and ECFA regulations governing the administration of tax deductible donations given in support of a particular trip/program, support contributions given on behalf of an individual will be used to offset the costs of the trip/program you are involved in. All contributions are non-refundable regardless of the participant’s success in completing the program.
