Dear Friends and Family,
When is it the right time to give up all you have to do something you really believe in? Well for me, that time is now. In August, I am going to be backpacking for 11 months to all 13 countries in South America with a program called The World Race. This program in done through a Christian organization, Adventures in Missions, that sends young adults to work, serve, witness, heal, learn and grow in Christ. I will be involved in all kinds of ministry in these countries such as working with orphans, planting churches, feeding victims of natural disasters, ministering to those trapped in human trafficking, and many other things, all while preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As most of you know I have always had a passion for traveling, however I never expected that God would call me to take a journey like this. I am beyond excited, and honestly a little terrified, to be leaving all that is comfortable in my life, and experiencing that which will bring great joy, self-reflection, and change in my life and the lives of others. I cannot express my gratitude for the Lord’s calling in this adventure and I have no doubt that when He calls He also provides.
I am humbly asking if you would consider partnering with me in prayer, but I am also in need of financial support. I must raise $17,561 for this ministry opportunity, which will cover all of my expenses while in the field. While that number may seem daunting, I would like to express that every little bit is a huge blessing. There are financial deadlines that I am required to meet. The first deadline is May 13th when I must have raised the first $5,000 and the total amount will be due at the end of November. Would consider a one-time or monthly gift?
