Greetings from Bangkok Hospital in Phuket, Thailand!   My life on the World Race is a constant not knowing what tomorrow will hold. So of course, there are no exceptions for holidays.  On Christmas Eve a teammate of mine came down with a high fever. We took her to the hospital where found she has several different infections.  We have been doing our best to enjoy our time in a very nice hospital even though it isn’t how we imagined spending this Christmas.  It has been complete with good Pizza, Subway, movies and Skyping our loved ones back home. Our plan was to head back to Bangkok on the 26th to meet up with our squad but it looks as though we will be in the hospital a few days.  Please keep Logan in your prayers this Christmas.  I got a chance to go Christmas caroling with our team and our contacts to other patients in the hospital. It was fun to sing and see the smiles on the patients faces.

Although, the challenges this month have proved to be one after another we still rejoice in the greatness of our King Jesus.  Oh what a glorious King we serve!  I am thankful for this Christmas to not have the distractions of consumerism to really reflect on the real meaning of Christmas, but I still miss my family and friends back home. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!  Please know Jesus loves you so much and I do too.
Merry Christmas
