My first official blog post! It’s so exciting! I guess I don’t have a ton to say right now, but I can update you as to what’s happened so far.
I have officially been accepted for 3 weeks! It’s so crazy, and sometimes (most of the time) it doesn’t feel like real life. I’ve already experienced a roller coaster of emotions, from extreme excitement to many many tears. I’m sure there are more of both to come.
I have a blog! And a fundraiser! I’ve begun a fundraiser through Pure Charity, which is a really awesome organization that allows you to shop online at so many different stores (seriously, so many), and a portion of the purchase goes to different organizations or fundraisers that you choose. One of which could be me! It’s so cool that something you do anyways can go towards helping me! You can also just donate money through Pure Charity, and all the of it goes directly to my fund. https://purecharity.com/worldrace-alisonscott. Donations can also be made on the left hand side of this blog, or by sending me a message/email asking for a support letter. I’ll send a letter and an envelope for you to mail in a check.
I’ve also been working on my support letter, and I hope to finish it up this weekend and start sending them out next week. Prayers would be much appreciated that people will have open and loving hearts as they receive these.
It’s so exciting to have something definite to do after I graduate, and I love telling people about it. I don’t know what the Lord has in store for me after these 11 months, but I can’t wait to find out!
