What a year it has been.
Jesus is so good and so faithful. Ever since the World Race and Nicaragua, the Lord has opened my heart and mind to an abundance of love and His unmerited favor. I am continually awed by God…seriously. I cannot even begin to talk about how much the Lord has done in/through me because you would have to read pages…I will save you from that! However, what I will say is that I have fallen more in love with Jesus- so much so that there are times I feel like my heart could literally explode. My faith has matured so much over the past two years that when I am reminded of this journey known as life, I am humbled by the works of our Lord. I don’t know…I am just so incredibly grateful.
Not only have I grown more in the Lord, but I have had some crazy-awesome life changes as well. If you did not know, I am now attending Columbia College Chicago where I am majoring in film and video w/ a minor in management. My Kingdom dream is to make documentaries on social justice issues (specifically centered on the persecuted church and youth culture), create feature film masterpieces, and start my own production agency. Hey! A girl can dream, right???
I was also blessed with an awesome community of some pretty powerful, God-fearing women who just happened to come at the perfect time. Don’t you love how God works? Needless to say, the Lord has done some pretty incredible things since I have been home “resting” from all of my life-changing travels.
However, the little itch to go back out into the nations arose a couple months back and I immediately knew it was from God. So, here it goes again…I will be participating in another trip for Adventures in Missions! I will be leading a group of young adults into Kingdom living/beautiful intimacy with the Lord and I could not be more excited to see what Jesus will do in and through them. I have no idea where we will be going or what we will be doing (I should know within the next couple of months) but I do know that a new wave of change is coming.
