Greetings from Coffee Bay, South Africa!
We are camping out this month so we don’t have outlets to charge our computers and internet is very expensive at the local shop… so I’ve drafted out blogs that I will post once we get back to Jo-burg, hopefully at the end of the month.  But I just wanted to shoot out a quick blog so you all know what we have been up to since arriving in the beautiful country of South Africa.

This month we are with 3 other teams on our squad and are stationed in Coffee Bay, South Africa.  It is so unbelievably beautiful here (I’ll post pictures at the end of the month, granted we get internet then).  We are working with any amazing woman named Mandy who is just starting up this ministry.  She has a ministry in Cape Town, South Africa but has decided to open another ministry site here in Coffee Bay.  We are camping out all month, which is really fun when it pours rain for 2 days, and it’s also the coldest winter on record here (-4c the other night).  Thankfully we were able to stock up on cold clothes while we were in Jo-burg.  We start our morning with worship and invite any locals to join us.  We also have worship services on Wednesdays and Fridays where a lot of the village people show up.  Our main ministry during the week day is teaching soccer and surfing to children, followed by sharing the Gospel.  Since I’m not the most athletic and I’m terrified of fish I spend my afternoons playing with the girls and boys that are too small to play soccer.  God has once again broken my heart for these children.  We are hoping to baptize 200 people before we leave!  I am truly loving it here!

Sorry for the scattered blog and if there are any spelling mistakes 🙂
