Wow have we been busy since my last blog update!  We have spent time in 3 different  countries, used 7+ different types of transporation (plane/bus/boat/open truck/elephant/ bike/Saungtoow) , eaten unusal food, discovered ‘squatee potties’, prayed over cities, loved on Gods children who have felt love, fed the hungry, children’s ministry, got peed on multiple times (babies here do not wear diapers and babies love me) and gotten sick.  We’ve been working with Ray & Candace Ward’s ministry called Outpour Movement in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  Last week we loaded up the truck and headed up to Mae Sai, the northern most part of Thailand.  In Mae Sai we worked with a drop in center that gives Burmese children a safe place to be during the day.  We lived at the drop in center for a week and I’d have to say that my heart broke the second I saw these children.  They have all been thru soo much but are so greatful and have such joy in their faces.  I fell in love with these children and it was very hard to leave at the end of the week.

For the privacy of these children I am unable to share their stories on here but I can say that because of the Drop in Center their lives will forever be changed.  The majority of children at the DiC are from Burma and travel into Thailand every morning.  Most of them have atleast one parent but majority of parents are using drugs.  When they come to the Drop in Center they are given a safe place to play, eat a hot meal, shower, and experience God’s love.  After lunch a lot of the kids would go out the bridge that seperates their homeland and the land where they find freedom and beg for money.   Here they are learning God’s love.  Here are the children:

We head to another ministry site in Mae Sariang, Thailand tomorrow.  I have more stories to share about the Drop in Center and I’ll try to get those up before we leave.  In Mae Sariang we’ll be working with a man named Weelapong in different mountain villages.  We’ll be leading church services, evanglizing, sport ministries, teaching english, and I’m sure loots more!

Love!
