Oy!

I remember back in July when I found out I was going on this trip, and I decided to prepare but not think too much about it until it got closer… well, with training camp in four days and having only eleven weeks left in the good ole U.S. of A, now might be a good time to start thinking about it!  πŸ™‚

For those of you who are unaware, I will be around the Atlanta, GA area from Saturday, October 16th to Wednesday, October 20th for training camp.  Dun dun dun!

Then, I am so excited to get to go to Chattanooga, TN for a few days to see my long-time-best-friend Stacy, who I haven’t seen in almost three years!  She’s getting married next summer and we need to spend some “single ladies” time together while we have the chance.  πŸ™‚

If you’d like to see a pretty funny video that Stacy and I made in 2006, click here.  But beware… it’s pretty sick.  At least in my opinion, but then again, I’m in it.  πŸ™‚

Anyway, I fly back to Muskegon late on Sunday, October 24th.

I am pretty excited for training camp because I get to meet my teammates and leaders, find out some more details about our trip, and in all honesty… I am excited to get “round one” of leaving home for a while.  Not that its exciting to leave, but practice makes perfect, and sense I have no idea how I am going to handle everything, I might as well get in a “practice round”, right?  πŸ™‚

Please keep me and my team in your prayers for the next couple of weeks… prayer for unity of our team, strength for us as individuals (spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally), and for us to have God’s eyes and heart with each other and for what lies ahead of us.

Thank you so much, God bless you.  Much love!
