–UPDATE–
The squad (all 32 of us) will be doing outreach this month with a cross-cultural minority group
(whom I cannot disclose for safety reasons) in London, England. We have been here for about
a week now, and this is the complete opposite of where we planned to be ths month,  (in
Swaziland, Africa) working with orphans. But God has confirmed in many ways this is exactly
where we need to be.  From third world countries to the first world we will strive to apply all we have learned thus far.

My Third World to First World Observations:
1.  Instead of sweating profusely we are fffffffrrrreezing!
(We stepped off the plane wearing everything we own….tee-shirts and flip-flops!)
2. I have not seen one insect since we arrived, praise the Lord!!!
3. People living here have enough money to buy food and clothing everyday.
4. Everyone can understand me because they speak ENGLISH!
5. Everything is grotesquley more expensive.
6. Hot showers and hair dryers have been re-introduced to my life.
7.  I feel much closer to home.
8. Suddenly the luxary of shopping is overwhelming and some-what uncomfortable.
9. Dogs are not starving and mangey, but are fat,  wear sweaters, and treated like children. (Atleast I can pet them again without getting fleas!)
10. People need Jesus everywhere in the world and He moves powerfully and sovereignly in every country, no matter what! He loves to suprise us with His goodness and presence whe we seek Him with our whole hearts.
(I was suprised to experience the Holy Spirit in yet another new way
 at worship this morning!)

To Him be all the glory, all the power, and all honor forever and ever!
