The World Race is coming up quicker than I expected! Starting to raise the funds for my trip was my first reality check. This was not going to be easy. Finding new ways to raise donations & getting different audiences is tricky but I know God will provide. The second reality check was looking at the packing list & reading about what past racers packed for this year long journey. It is incredible how much you can pack into a backpack! I defiantly have to start learning packing skills as well as being organized! (I try to be but I’m messy). Now family has offered to let me stay with them while I pack up my apartment in the last month that I will be home & also when I first get back. That was what really shocked me.. This is real. I’m leaving everything & everyone behind. That will be by far the hardest thing. Leaving family & friends home. But I know I will make new friends & family while I am on the race… & that in it’s self is comforting. Thinking about everything just reminds me that God PROVIDES! All of these butterflies I am feeling are making me more & more excited to go on this race.
Take me out of my comfort zone Lord!
