11 countires. 11 months. 1 remarkable God.
I am willing to let go of familiar comforts so that I can say a whole hearted YES to this adventure.
The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to share the gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. I will give up the comfort of the life I know to work among and for the beautiful people in Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
This may be the hardest year of my life but it will be well worth it. Nothing I suffer from can compare to the great price that Jesus paid to save us all. God’s love is eternal and we are deeply loved by Him- giving us the freedom to love others. Our role is to be faithful and to seek ways to serve others with what Christ has given us.
As part of The World Race, we are required to raise financial support. I will need a total of $17,000. As I step out and trust in the Lord, would you consider joining me in this adventure? I hope that through this experience, I gain a deeper heart for the nations and that the Lord will destroy any limitations that I put on him. More than anything, I need your prayers as I seek to follow the Lord by participating in this yearlong mission trip. The World Race is a stretching journey to serve “the least of these” while amongst real and raw community. This unique mission trip is a challenging adventure to abandon worldly possessions and a traditional lifestyle in exchange for an understanding that it’s not about me; it’s about the Kingdom.
