For the month of June, I have been able to reach 65% funded!! I have exceeded my June goal by 5%! I’m so thankful to everybody who has supported me by praying for me and blessing me financially. I can’t thank you enough, and you have no idea what your generosity means to me.
In 5 days, I will meet everybody I will be living with for 11 months. It feels surreal.. like I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, and it’s finally here, like so close! It’s exciting but also very scary at the same time. It’s exciting because I know how amazing all these people are and I already feel so close to them. It’s also scary because these are the people who I’ll be experiencing everything for the next year with.. heartbreak, joy, frustrations… anything you can imagine, these are the people I’ll be with through all of that. It allows a new level of vulnerability to open up as well as a new level of community.
The word that God keeps reminding me of is “community”. I don’t know how to explain it, but I already feel like our squad already has such a strong sense of community, even though we haven’t all met yet. I know that Holy Spirit has bonded us together and I’m so excited to see what happens through each of us and how we grow as a community.
If you’re reading this, please take the time to pray for my squad. Please pray that we would truly become family. Pray that we could all embrace our differences so that each person can thrive in their giftings to strengthen the team as a whole. Pray that we would be sensitive to the presence of Holy Spirit. Pray that each person would receive financial blessings to meet all of our deadlines.
