Nothing too deep in this blog. Just a quick update. Oh yeah and a plea.

I’m half way through with the family vacation in New York City and while I’m enjoying the things we’re doing there remains a countdown clock in the back of my head the entire time. I’m so ready to get this incredible journey started. Nearly exactly one week from right now I’ll be landing in Ukraine and starting day one. People keep asking me if I’m nervous and surprisingly the answer is no. I don’t have room for nervous. Part of me is filled with peace because I know for a fact this is what I’m supposed to do and the rest is filled with excitement: excitement to see incredible things, serve an incredible God and do it all with incredible people.

My team and our gorgeous facial hair

Thanks to you all for the incredible support you’ve given me as I’ve surpassed the $11,000 mark in support. As I mentioned in an older blog, if you want to donate to me right now please donate to my teammates instead. No amount is too small.

If you’re able to offer some additional support
please, please, please
consider again helping my teammate
Stephanie. If you can’t offer financial support,
please offer your prayers.

She’s making progress and God’s doing some cool stuff, but there’s still some work to be done. My teammate Carrie has doubled her support from 5,000 to 10,000 just since training camp. Let’s do the same for Stephanie.

You can read about her and visit her donation tab at:

Also, please help me spread the word. If everyone that reads this passed the link to this blog or the older one linked below to even just one person we’d make some great progress. Don’t be scared to tell your friends!

This is the link to the old blog I mentioned that talks more about it and gives more in-depth directions on how to donate. http://alexcole.theworldrace.org/?filename=back-from-training-and-i-need-help

Thank you all so much for everything.
