We have nicknamed the trusty 1983 Mazda van driving us around, The Sweat Box.  It seems like we are in The Sweat Box more than anything else.  Sometimes for 10 minutes, or an hour, or even 2 and half hours at a time.  My butt hurts.  This week we are driving all around the state of Kelantan to visit mostly Hindu families and tell them what Jesus has done in our lives, with a few random adventures in-between!  We pull up to a house, go inside, sit around their living room, drink Milo (like hot chocolate) or Nescafe and eat any goodies that are offered (I’ve never eaten so much in my life!), share stories, talk about Jesus, pray over the family and leave.  Then it’s on to the next house!  Our contact is of Indian decent so he mainly ministers to families of his race.  95% of his ministry is outreach and we are just along for the ride.

I kind of feel like a modern day disciple.  Showing up to a town, being invited in a home, sharing Jesus.  We have prayed for sickness and healing and seen miracles happen.  Chronic headaches have gone away, ACL injuries have been healed, pain and discomfort in different areas of the body have left.  It’s been awesome and our faith is increasing every day.

Here are pictures of real people and families that we’ve been able to meet these past few days. Look at their faces and please remember to pray for them; specifically that they fully surrender to Jesus and don’t just add them to their list of many gods (for the Hindus) and that their faith is increased and the fear of man is taken away (for the Christians).

Joyce and her son Joseph are members of the church, but the husband/father is not.

Hindu family

What a home visit looks like, grandfather is the only Christian.

Hindu family but the girl in the brown shirt is a Christian.

God really moved at this house.  The daughter is very open and the mother was given a Bible.

Students we help tutor.  They are all from Hindu families.
