I would also like to take this opportunity to ask you to please consider donating personal money to me. These funds are not a part of the $15,500 that I must raise for the World Race and they are not tax deductible. These funds will be used for personal expenses such as hygiene products, the occasional snack food item, clothes, medical costs, etc.
It's month 4 of the World Race and I am discovering that the World Race is not cheap, especially when you get sick in a foreign country 🙁 In January, I was sick with Dengue Fever in Costa Rica, and this month I have been in and out of the Chaing Mai Ram Hospital twice for bronchitis, a UTI and mononucleosis (mono). I am happy to report that I am alive and well despite still having a fever, a fairly consistent headache and body aches.
I have been praying a lot about how to go about raising personal funds this month. God's answer to me was simple: just ask! So, I am asking you to please consider donating. Please be sure to mark that you are sending money to family or friends, and that the money is a gift.
