It's month 3 of the World Race and I can't believe how fast time has gone! This will be my third consecutive month of sleeping in my tent, taking cold showers, and washing my clothes by hand, but I wouldn't trade it for the world because for the first time in my life I feel like I am actually apart of God's Kingdom.

This month my team and I have the blessing of being at Zion's Gate ministry just outside of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. We arrived here on Saturday, March 2nd, and set up camp (a.k.a our tents).

Zion's Gate is a ministry that is run by Tony. Tony came to Honduras about 5 years ago to start Zion's Gate. He has been a believer for about 6 years and literally came here on a prayer. He owned and ran a summer camp for kids in America but then sold his business and everything he owned to move to Honduras to be a light to street kids. He is married to Nidia, and together they have opened up their house and their lives to troubled kids in Honduras.

There are about 15 kids on the Zion's Gate property ranging in age from 12 to 19. Tony and Nidia are definitely bright shining lights to these kids. They are providing them the opportunity to live off the streets, get an education, and they show them Christ's love daily through their interactions with them. I am blown away by what they are doing here in Honduras, and I know that I will not soon forget my time spent here.

Please pray for these kids as they are going through the teenage years of their lives, and they are faced with challenges just like every other teenager you know. Please also pray for Tony and Nidia as the work they are doing  can be challenging and tough at times. They both seem to be loving life and enjoying their ministry, but just pray for rest and continued guidance from God for them. Thanks!
