I absolutely LOVE Africa!  Right now, living and ministering in Kenya, feels like home.  The people are so happy and friendly, and there is so much hope and hunger for God!

We are working with a small church planted in the slums near Lang’ata, in Nairobi.  It is called Deliverance Church Southlands.  Our contacts are Pastor Joseph, his wife, Mercy, and their 3 year old daughter, Patience.  They have opened their home to us and spoil us with their awesome hospitality!  They are such an amazing, faithful, powerful family of God.  I know that by living and working with this family and their church that I will be challenged, but at the same time encouraged to grow in my walk with Christ.

Our main ministry this month is door to door evangelism and working with the church – getting the people we minister to connected and plugged into the church for discipleship.  On our first visit into the slums we went in with great expectancy of God showing up in a big way… and He did!  As we stepped out of our comfort zone and laid down the selfishness of our insecurities, we were able to proclaim the Gospel – not just with boldness, but with compassion and love.  And I love how faithful God is!  He is so quick to show Himself strong!  Praise God for all the glory is His!

Please keep our entire squad in your prayers.  There have been so many miraculous things happening – with all the teams, all over Kenya – God has healed and convicted so many people to salvation…  But we are also already seeing the attack of the enemy.  We found out two of our squad members have been diagnosed with malaria, one also has some kind of parasites too.  Please keep the health of our squad in your prayers.
