To My Dearest Family and Friends,
As you may know, I have recently been blessed with the opportunity to travel with The World Race, an organization that will allow me to serve in eleven countries in eleven months! I will be visiting the following countries doing missions work and bringing the light of the gospel to these people groups!
Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Swaziland, Botswana, South Africa, Turkey, Albania, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica
I am so excited about this new journey. This year The Lord has been teaching me about stepping out of my comfort zone and I can’t think of a better way to take a leap of faith than to embrace this new season with hope and strength in The Lord!
Many of you have asked how you can help me on this journey, and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you exactly how. First and foremost, I need your prayers! I am leaving my family, my job and all that is familiar to do what I know The Lord is calling me to do. Your prayers go far beyond any kind of financial gift. I need prayer that I would have protection, peace, courage and the boldness to speak life into dark places.
Ephesians 6:18 says, “With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the spirit, and with this in view be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for the saints.”
The second way you can help is by donating financially. This trip will cost over $16,225 which will go towards my airfare, training, food, and a place for me to stay while visiting these countries. Under my picture on the left hand side of the page is a link that says “Support me!”. If you feel led to give, you can click on that link and it will give you further instructions on how to do so. You can donate monthly or as a one-time gift. Whether you choose to give financially or not, I am so grateful for all of your encouragement and support.
Please know that this trip, although it will be filled with fun and exciting things, is far from a vacation. I am taking a step of faith, going into unknown places with people I am unfamiliar with, in hopes that people around the world will have the hope of Jesus! I am equally excited and nervous but I trust that The Lord will provide for all my needs and that he will be my peace as I am obedient to His call.
