There are times throughout this whole thing we call the race when I pause and say to anyone and everyone around at that moment, "this is my life right now guys," and most of the times it has been in awesome situations where this would never be your life back home..
So I figured I'd put some pictures of my life here in the Philippines just so you could see too..(thanks to the people I swooped them from from facebook..)

Good ol Beany. He is the most precious kid on the planet. I can't pick only one photo to describe Bean. He runs up to you every time without fail to give you the biggest sweatiest drooliest hug possibly can, sometimes with pants, sometimes without.

This is my friend. She might be 18. She understands everything I say, but cannot communicate freely.
She has lived in the children's home for the last five years.
We're friends. She loves me, I love her, she knows I love her, I know she loves me.
She looks for me. One day I will hear her say my name.
In a lot of ways, she is the reason I am here right now..
This crazy lady and the other one are most certainly partners in crime for life so if I am friends with one I am also default friends with the other. Her loudness rivals mine, it's awesome.

It's comforting to go up to the fourth floor and watch the sunset because I know that although there are so many different things about my life right now, the sun still rises and sets here and its still beautiful, just like wherever you are..
