AFRICAN WORSHIP:

If the music cuts off, keep singing. If there is no music, make music. Clapping to the beat is the beat.  Sing as loud as you can, not because you are a good singer, but because you believe what you are singing. The louder the better. You can stand on chairs. You can lift up your chair. Any kind of dancing is expected and accepted-I mean any kind. The more you sweat, the more you worship. You are free. You are free to sing praises in a way that is unrefined. You are free to worship. This is Africa.

I will miss you. I don’t even know if I am ready to say goodbye. Some days I am more ready than other days. I will miss the friendly people. I will miss kids running up to you no matter where you are. I will not miss the stares that are constant. I will miss the culture. I will miss the simple joy that lives here. I will miss the love the people have here.
