So… what’s been happening at Month 2 Debrief? A whole lot of nothing except resting and relaxing. Debrief is a time meant for no obligations, just do what you want to do. They’re also a time to recharge and get ready for the next couple of months. We’ve had two nights of worship during this debrief so far, and they each one couldn’t have been anything closer to opposite for me. The first night, which was last night; I just couldn’t press into worship. I wasn’t enjoying it, I wasn’t feeling it, I just couldn’t do it; I couldn’t focus. I expressed this to my Squad dad Tom and he reminded me to “just stop.” Quit trying to press in and do what I thought I should do during worship, simply just focus on Jesus, that is all.
So going into worship tonight, I planned on just focusing on Jesus. I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but about the 2nd song in, God told me to just write. Write what came to mind because it would be Him talking to me. Anyways, here it is; here is what my Father spoke to me tonight:
Adam, my love for you is a symphony, it is a song. I love you so much as my son it’s just ridiculous. Remember, your perspective or feeling of me at any given moment doesn’t change my love for you one bit. You are my son and you are filled with my Holy Spirit. Adam, you know me as your Father and your relationship with me is an intimate one; choose to believe! Follow me! I will tell you what to do, I will tell you what to say; I have given you my heart. I love you more than you could ever know, Adam. You know me, Adam, and don’t let anyone try to convince you otherwise. Listen to me, you can hear my voice. I love you. I love you. I love you. You are holy, pure, and clean because of what I’ve done for you; that’s how much I love you. Focus on what I’ve done for you, and spread that. I love you. So much. So so so so so so so much. Go where I go, stay where I stay, pray what I pray; for everyone to come to me. Go get your brothers and sisters, Adam.
