I know & feel deep down inside of me that I was meant to go in the World Race & I know & feel that I suppose to leave on the race with iSquad in Sept.
But as of now my financials are telling me something different. I was suppose to have a total of $7,500 in my account by Aug. 22nd. I did not reach this deadline, but I was graciously given a slight extension through Aug. 26th. I currently have $4,930 in my account; meaning I still need to raise $2,500.
I have a story to share with you that filled heart & ensured to me that this is my path & I pray that you consider assisting me stay on this journey.
On Saturday Aug. 16th a friend of mine was telling me about a missionary couple she knows that does work in Panama. As we sat together she told me about the work they were doing teaching ASL. She didn’t tell me their name or the name of the ministry just the awesome work they were doing.
On Thursday Aug. 21st my team leader texted us the information about the work we would be doing in Panama. This is some of the info I was given “We will be workin with an organization called ICJesus ministries in panama! It is near San Felix. They have several schools that they work with and also help build wells and are starting a deaf school so it’s very possible we will be helping with those projects!”…of course I wanted to know more. I Googled the organization & as I was looking over their information I was like could this be the same couple? I did more research & messaged my friend with the names I was given. & what a small world it is & God shows himself in the most amazing ways…I will have the opportunity to work with the couple I was told about days before.
God placed this ministry on my heart before it was given to my team.
This is truly God at work!! Though I haven’t meet my deadline I’m going & I’m meant to go!
