Three Hundred and eighteen days. l will be leaving America in three hundred and eighteen days. And time moves fast. For the past month, my main focus has been fundraising and getting the word about my race around. And through this time, I have also felt God pressing something onto my heart. Yes, in less than a year, I will be traveling to Thailand, leaving my family and friends, and starting this amazing adventure for His glory. But I know that there is more to be done here at home. There are people in my school, in my town, and around my area that need to be reached out to as well.

Something that I have always felt that I had a passion for was talking to others my age about Christ. Whether it be through invitation or just small talk. I also feel as if I have really been slacking on this. Yes, just about everyone knows that I am going on this amazing nine month long trip to spread the word of Jesus, but have I really been super intentional with spreading his love here? This question has been on my mind.

So this is not it. Through all of the stress and anxiety that fundraising and preparing for this type of trip brings, I need to keep my mind on Him, not on myself. I need to remember that He is always here with me here at home as well. I need to remember that He is bringing me on this trip, and that He is truly preparing my heart and soul for what I am about to step into next fall.

Thank you for keeping up with my blog, and starting to follow me early on in this amazing journey that God has called me to. I encourage you to step out as well– whether it be in school, in work, or in your neighborhood or community and share his everlasting love with those who don’t know it. And trust me, I know that it can be hard at times, but just know that He is with you through it all. Remember that there is more to be done.

Love Y’all
