This month so far has been a good challenge. In a way, it feels like the start of the race. In the last 3 countries, we have had much easier living conditions. Ministry was very pleasant and relational.

But here in Nepal, it is very different. We are all working together as women to minister to women and children who are at risk or who have experienced human trafficking. In this part of the world and in these situations, education can make a huge difference. So we have been helping teach English to the women and tutoring some of the children who have been rescued.

Also, we are going out to cabin restaurants and dance bars where many women are forced to work and sell themselves. In many cases these women are uneducated and come from small villages, meaning their chances for leaving this kind of work are small.

Even in the midst of this darkness, we have seen the love of God shine through our ministry. Sometimes it seems like our work small. But I know we are making a difference and bringing love by caring for these women and children even in simple ways.

Please be praying that our team continues to walk in boldness and confidence in the Holy Spirit. Also please pray that the Lord sends us people who are hungry to know Him and eager to learn more about Him.

This month, my hope is that we bring hope and healing for these women and children, and that we continue meeting people who are hungry to receive God’s love.
