My pockets are empty. Fear’s such a thief. I never realized how much of a mess I really am. But He still comes close. As my heart settles, he does the impossible. He CHANGES me. He CHANGES me through a orphan named Niaomi. Whose parents have aids and by the grace of God she was not infected. Who always greets me with a shy smile and giggles when my watch makes a beeping noise. When I feel stuck, it is the hope in HIS eyes that CHANGES me. He CHANGES me through a pastor named Alex who wants to see the Kingdom to come to earth. Who prays fervently for Americans to come serve with him. And when that happens, he gives the Lord all the glory. Who has a passion so deep for Christ that it can do nothing but shine so brightly. Who almost lost his life in the election battles but still he rejoices that the Lord has given him another day to serve him. Who has a heart for the Christ I strive to be like. It’s when He is the only one that can clean the wound that he CHANGES me. He CHANGES me through a girl named Betty that has more faith for an 18 year old then I have seen. Who has lost both her parents, has seven brother and sisters who all live with the oldest sibling and she is just bursting with joy. She has a fire for Jesus that makes me want to CHANGE to be more like Christ. Now that I see more of HIS face, I will never be the same. He is CHANGING me.
