Awaken My Dreary Soul to Dream:
Part Two
Wheeew…I'm pretty sure those three days flip-flopped my entire thinking on God and the New Covenant. I need to process all that, but before I can I have a week at Kingdom Dreams Searchlight.
So, fifteen of us S-Squaders stayed at the AIM base, along with some Q & R-Squaders and an A, J, K, and P-Squader. We came together to learn and define more of our dreams. We all became instantly close after a long day at the church those first couple of days.
What is your Dream?
Before I tell you any more though, let me tell you about Kingdom Dreams. Seth Barnes, the founder of AIM, became aware of a need for World Race alumni needing to be motivated and pushed further towards realizing the dreams that God has placed on their hearts. To meet this need, he and the rest of the AIM staff have opened up their network to connect WR alumni with other organizations or other men and women of God that have similar dreams.
We had many sessions that were geared through helping us process our Race, then getting us focused on the future and where God is leading each one of us. Other sessions were geared on planning, prayer, or networking, even to where one of the guys from R-Squad who would like to be a writer asked if he could talk with Donald Miller, and Seth Barnes called a friend who knows Donald Miller to try and get the two of them together. It was ridiculous. If you don't know who Donald Miller is, then you need to go to Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million to find his books…just saying.
Anyways, Project Searchlight is basically a tool for the Kingdom Dreams staff to help turn on the switch of where our passions and dreams that God is calling us into. It's a very long week of them pouring themselves into us to try and get us to see the steps we need to take to bring our dreams into fruition. For any World Racers just coming off the field, then go…just go, you will not regret it. You can catch up on rest later, trust me.

Ok, my dear readers, I will tell you. First and foremost, God has laid it on my heart to publish a poetry book that glorifies Him and gives hope to the hopeless and life to the broken through the use of prose and rhyme. My vision statement for this reads:
"My poetry rides the wings of eagles to bring hope to the hopeless, light to those lost in darkness, strength to the weak, and truth to those stuck in the miry lies of hell.
The second dream that God has been speaking to me for the past four months of the Race and now is to help in the process of mobilizing Europe for the Kingdom of God. I believe that I am to go to London for two weeks to see what He has for me there, and then I will most likely be going to Ireland for an Ireland Apprenticeship to help build and maintain drop-in centers for the youth of Ireland to be discipled and brought up in an atmosphere free of spending life just in the pubs.
These two dreams and passions have been brought up to me and I am moving towards them. I will give you more information on how you can help in a later blog, once I can finalize the decisions that need to be made about both aspects spoken above.
