Spider Upon the Wall
Spider upon the wall,
Welcome to the Fall
Of sublime life
Within the taint of poison.
Easy to trek through
With not a care, but a shoe–
How you lose sight
Of the King's truth!
Webs of mystery, of misery,
To battle through history–
See His plans unfold
And redeem every people.
Oh, spider upon the wall
You've heard and seen it all,
Yet you still traverse our halls,
For a chance to wonder on His salvation.
*Written during our last service at Aninuan Christian Church after I saw a spider scurry across the back wall of the ministry center. Crazy the things God will use to pique your imagination! I get great joy from it!! Thank you Lord for your inspiration!
