Sunrise to Sunset

On December 20th, 2010 Team Lionheart left at 10:30ish p.m. from Volcan, Panama towards Panama City, Panama for a day's off worth of adventure. Here are some highlights of the 21st of December:

  • An all night sing-along as we drove through the night trying to keep the one driving awake.
  • Much laughter and stories to go around.
  • Getting to see parts of the lunar eclipse on our drive.
  • Driving onto an island to see a glorious sunrise.

  • My dragon being confirmed as the next tattoo that I am to get (hopefully Thailand) and God adding other things to the body of the dragon.

  • Seeing the Miraflores locks of the Panama Canal.

  • Meeting Ken and Ashley from Louisiana at the Canal, so encouraging.
  • Going to an old town area reminiscent of St. Augustine (only French style architecture).

  • A brief glimpse seeing an old time theatre.
  • The presidential palace.

  • Drives into the main part of Panama City…such a Miami feel to it.

  • A mall with lots to offer…Sbarro for lunch and Cinnabon for snack.

  • Being called an angel by Bringham for taking a Cinnabon and coffee to her in the car. 😀
  • Going to ruins to see them from the outside…other ideas with our money.

  • Walking along the bay and just letting go to be who I am. (Dancing randomly and wearing a Christmas hat the whole time).
  • An amazing sunset with the skyline of Panama City.

  • Going to a theater to see Narnia, but instead watching Dinner with Shmucks because Narnia was only in Spanish.
  • More food for dinner than anticipated due to others not being as hungry.
  • Reclining in the V.I.P. theater.
  • Being so exhausted that the movie is ten times funnier.
  • Sleep on the way home for a few hours.
  • Singing with Chelsea to help keep her up to anything and everything.
  • Glorious sleep once we got home before Squad-leader Tim got here in the evening hours (we sang Aladdin to him).

Well, that's about the synapsis of Panama City…it was an exhausting day (in more ways than one…aka personal bank account), but it was worth it. Love you all!

       MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
