I’m moving, in more ways than one.

In three short weeks, I’ll be packing up my car and heading to California. I’m leaving my Colorado home to journey to Redding, to begin the next chapter of my journey at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. I’ll be in Redding for at least a year, learning and growing in a new environment. I’ll be learning under people like Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton, men of God committed to seeing the Kingdom of God brought to this earth. I’m so excited, because the heart of this school so lines up with my heart. Why am I going? I’m going to get equipped, to be trained, to sit and learn. The thing is, I believe that the Lord has a great calling over my life. I believe He has plans for me, and I want to be prepared for them. I have been in leadership since I was 16 and I can’t deny that the Lord has given me a gift for it. But I want this gift to be molded and guided. I want to sit and learn, I want to be discipled and soak up as much as I can, so I can give it away in whatever ministry setting the Lord has for me. I am excited for this year, to sit in His presence and absorb. Absorb truth and wisdom and grace and most of all, His Spirit.

To go along with this new season, it seemed appropriate to move my blog as well. I want to continue to share what the Lord is doing in me and my life, at Bethel and for years to come. To do that, I’ve decided to find a new home for my words and I hope you will join me there.

adaughtersjourney.me is where I’ll be sharing my thoughts and current adventures from now on. I hope you will join my newest journey, as many of you have become a huge part of my life. You can follow me and follow the newest journey the Lord has set my feet to. I can’t say thank you enough for so many of you giving me support and encouragement for the past three years. Three years, it’s hard to believe. I’m thankful for the World Race and everything that has happened since because of it. It has blessed and sharpened me in ways unimaginable! Now though, it’s time to move on and I’m excited to take the next step.

Ever running after Him,

Alyssa
