During the last two years all of you have seen pictures of my team and I doing things like..

Bungee jumping at Victoria falls

Watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat

Canyoning Mount Olympus in Greece

Sitting on the edge of Sani Pass in South Africa

Eating Tarantulas in Cambodia

Washing an elephant in Thailand

Hiking the Grand Canyon

Sitting on the edge of Horseshoe Bend

Exploring Time Square

You’ve seen me at beautiful places doing once in a lifetime things.

But what you don’t see is more important..

You don’t get to see the..

Kids that are hungry and cold

Women that are stuck in the sex industry

Widows that have been outcasted by their society

Orphanage that are longing for the love of a mother

Addicts that are withdrawing and searching for the next high

Men that are homeless and in need of a meal and a warm bed

Young adults stuck in generational sin

Whole towns empty of youth because they are trying to escape from the norms of their family

Couples in unhappy marriages because of past sins

Team members battling depression

Parents living paycheck to paycheck determined to give their children the best

Battered women running for their safety

Johns that are forcing women and children to sell their bodies

Lonely men and women that are desiring love from any other person

Business men that put their worth in their work

Women that struggle with self image and comparison

Senior citizens kicked to the street because they aren’t physically able to work

Old men sleeping under tin to stay warm

Children without shoes that walk across trash everyday

Women that get verbally abused by men

I don’t show you pictures of our broke world.

But remember what you don’t see… you don’t get to see the children of God we get to love on and encourage. Simply because their privacy comes first.

Everyday for the last two years I have given my time to other people because God has asked me to surrender myself and my selfish desires. But the only thing I feel comfortable sharing with everyone is the happy moments amongst the painful ones.

Every example I’ve given you is also wrapped up in hope, joy, and love. A lot of the people I’ve sat with find joy in the small things in life and are continuously fighting the battle.

Let me remind you that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

The enemy has no place in your life, my life, or anyone else’s. Simply because of our sweet savior Jesus.

God has given me the task of reminding people of that and coming alongside people and fighting their battles with them. Though it seems like I bask in a life of beautiful views and adventurous  things, remember the battles that our fellow brothers and sisters are facing.

Come alongside them

Love them where they are

Encourage them

Remind them of what our savior did for them

Give them a glimpse of hope

Because trust me, there is no better feeling in the world.

I would absolutely love to share this call with you and I hope you will prayerfully consider partnering with me by clicking donate above.

With love & surrender,
