Reflecting on how much God has moved these past few months is so beautifully overwhelming. I’ve been and continue to be flooded with so many emotions. So much excitement and sadness. So much hope and frustration. But so much more things to be thankful for. I’ve built great relationships with people by sharing my heart for what I’m doing this year. I’ve been able to value all the quality time spent with people. I’ve been able to laugh and reflect on friendships. I’ve exceeded every fundraising deadline up until this point and I’m currently sitting at around $13,000. Jesus has been incredibly faithful and real and I continue to see sides of him that I’ve haven’t gotten to know yet. I’ve seen his love SO greatly through others. Support from the most amazing people and I’m not even talking financially. People that have given up their time to help me get things done, talk with me about what I’m doing, celebrated with me and encouraged me. I’m so overwhelmed  with how incredible God is. Seriously. So thankful to be serving the God of the universe and having the opportunity to get to know him this next year. I’ll be diving into deep community, even greater discomfort, culture changes, adapting to different environments. I will be  smelling the air from so many places around the world. Touching areas that I will probably visit for the first and last time of my life. Meeting faces that I know for a fact will impact my life forever. Loving others with the biggest heart but also receiving sadness and disappointment with all the brokenness I will encounter. And the most amazing thing of them all, sharing how Jesus has so vastly loved me and continues to do so to others around the world.

I’m ready for God to change me and flip my world upside down. And I’m willing to experience all the mess that comes with it. These next 11 months will be one of the most impactful times of my life. Thank you to everyone that has chosen to walk alongside me in this journey thus far.
