Team Relentless is here in Belize doing Unsung Heroes for month 10–forgive me while I freak out a little that we only have 5.5 weeks left…ahh!!–and it’s been incredible so far.

We started out our journey by spending roughly a week on the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye, in the city of San Pedro. Coming into Belize we had no idea where we would stay, but God did not fail to provide and His blessings were overflowing! YWAM Destination Paradise was more than generous and accommodating by allowing us to stay with them on such a tight WR budget (shout out to YWAMDP!). And let me tell you, this place is legit! I speak for my whole team when I say we did not want to leave. But more than just being a beautiful place, we were just blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and spend time with the incredible DTS students on the base. We were able to swap stories and pour into one another during our short time there, and it was completely an answer to prayer.

Coming into this month Team Relentless sat down and discussed our goals for the month, and we narrowed them down to these three:

1. Seek–to be intentional in seeking The Lord, seeking each other, seeking out ministry opportunities and potential contacts, and seeking adventure.
2. Fight–to fight for each other, for our time with The Lord, and to discover the needs of the country.
3. Expect–to expect The Lord to provide and to show up in [unBelizeable] ways.

All three of these goals were met during our time in San Pedro, and I’m expecting them to be met during our next two stops throughout the country.
Y’all, we serve an incredible God who truly cares about us and cares about what we care about. He has answered so many of our prayers in just this short amount of time. He has opened our eyes to the needs of the island, and He has provided us with several potential contacts so far for future teams. I’m pumped for the rest of our time here!

San Pedro, you have stolen a piece of my heart. I will definitely be back for you one day.

Next stop: Punta Gorda!
