I have decided I love living in Georgia.  I have been wearing flip flops for two weeks now, and it is barely March.  I have not worn a coat in at least a month (granted, I may have given up a tad too early) and even have a bit of a tan.

You can remind me of these sentiments when it is 120 degrees in August.  But for now I am loving the weather in the South.

I always equate the natural seasons to the seasons in your life and heart.  In fact, someone once told me that you should not marry someone that you have not spent the 4 seasons with them first.  It is good to see how they handle a winter, spring, summer, and fall – and not just the physical elements, but a heart season of each.
Flowers are blooming, sun roofs are open, hammocks are hung…spring is on it’s way.  It is glorious.
Spring around here also represents growth.  There is a lull, a calm, a resting before the summer and fall busyness is on us.  This is a building time.  We are working on marketing plans, budgets, event planning, race routes, and all other manner of good stuff.  Infrastructure is the name of the game this spring.
God is working on the infrastructure of the World Race.  We are poised to launch close to 600 people this year.  The infrastructure is the key.  We need systems, protocols, processess.  This spring is all about building the internal structure that will allow growth, expansion and new territory.
Pray for creativity as we make marketing plans, design new web sites, and discuss sales strategies.  Pray for divine intervention as we set budgets, hire new staff and plan events.  Pray for GOD-size dreams as we set goals for 2012.   Pray that HE is glorified in every single decision!
