God's blessings are abundant. They are all around us.

Scripture says in John 14:12-14, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

On Saturday, I graduated from college. On Friday, my roommates and I had a graduation party at our house. Inside the house it is too small for everyone to fit, so the party was going to be outside. We were having a cookout and grilling all our food. It was supposed to rain Friday night. It was a small prayer, but we asked God for the rain to hold off. We weren't asking for a miracle; we were just asking for the weather to stay nice for our cookout. It was merely something that we wanted, something that would bring us joy. God provided; He always provides. The rain held off until the very end of the party. As everyone was leaving, right after we brought all the food inside, it started to rain.

As I look back on this, it was a selfish prayer, but I also realized that God loves to provide for us, even in the smallest of ways. He wants to open the doors and bring joy into our lives. No prayer is too big or too small for God to answer. If we believe in Him and ask in His name, we shall receive.

I cannot wait to see the ways that God is going to provide for us on the WorldRace. I can't wait to see the way He changes our hearts, enters our minds, and uses His love through us. It is going to be a wonderful and at times hard journey. However, with the power of Jesus's name in our words, we are capable of anything. He will provide us with anything we ask for.
