“With the wind at our backs and in the strength of the Lord, we will rise on the wings of the Dawn..”

This month is a month of prayer. It is a month of trusting that the Lord is at work regardless of what we do or do not see. It’s a month of spending countless hours saturating ourselves in His truth and abiding in His love.

Our goal is to love. Love through our words and our thoughts. Love through our actions. Love in a way that most of these women, ladyboys, and men have never experienced before because it is the kind of love that does not come from us, it comes from above. It is a love that gives life, freedom, and hope. The kind that doesn’t leave you empty. The greatest love this world has ever known.

"Little children, we must not love in word or speech, but in deed and truth."

"If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us…and we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him."

Our purpose is just to be used by God. To let Him lead. To step back from trying to have control and to submit to His will. Surrender. Surrender our expectations, our desire to fix situations and to rescue trapped women. To really believe that He is soverign over all things in heaven and on earth. His power is great and it is enough.

“For the kingdom of God is not in talk but in POWER.”

We are dreaming with Him. Dreaming that these places of darkness and death will not just be shut down, but that they will be turned into places of light and life. Places where His name is made great and places where He is worshiped and praised.

“His foolishness is wiser than human wisdom and His weakness is stronger than human strength.”

"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations."

We walk the streets in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings and we pray. We pray and we believe. We walk into bars, order our cokes and have conversations. We pray to see peoples' hearts, not their flesh, and to love like Jesus loves. Our hope is to help bring these sons and daughters one step closer to Lord. But what happens is that we are the ones being brought one step closer. We are breaking down walls of fear and doubt, and building up faith, boldness, and courage. Recognizing how weak we are in our flesh, but how strong we are when walking in the power of Christ through His Spirit.

We want to bring change, but we are the ones being changed. We want to spread hope, but we are growing in hope. We want to extend love, but we are receiving love. We want them to know Him, but He’s increasing our knowledge of Him.

Sometimes Satan makes us feel like we are fighting a losing battle. He laughs in our faces because he thinks he has made us feel defeated, but we know better. We know that we are fighting for the victory that is already ours. We don’t fight with hope that we will win, we fight because we know He already won.

"He was given authority to rule, and glory, and a kingdom; so that those of every people, nation, and language should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed."
