Walking down the one main street in Draganesti, Romania to The Penny Mart, kicking up dust as we go. The destination greets us with hard to find air conditioning and all the necessary groceries. Countless numbers of stray dogs roam the streets hoping for a hand out. We walk confidently with smiles and hello’s to the people we pass by knowing that Light is much needed here. We see the horse drawn carts trot by and wonder what it would be like to hitch a ride on the back of one (two of my squad mates were brave enough to ask).

Hope Church is our home base for the month. A body filled with prayer warriors. The service is seeped in prayer for its members, the community, and the numerous outreach opportunities. Knowing the area they live in is known as the “graveyard” for missionaries, doesn’t damped their spirits. They know the hardships around them, yet they know that they can be conquerers in Christ. Where there is light no darkness can be. From house visits, construction, street evangelism, intercessory prayer and worship, kids clubs, and administrative tasks, we are doing His work on all fronts.

Please join me in praying for Hope Church and all the workers the Lord has called to serve here. They need your support and your prayers.
