“Not even a sparrow, worth only half a penny, can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it.”

Tonight I write with a heavy heart and an earnest petition. I, and all three teams here in Dragonesti Olt, had the privilege of meeting Ping Pong, a few-month-old puppy whose bouncing stride and playful woofs brought an abundance of joy and life to our brief time here.

We do not have many opportunities on the race to make furry friends, so I was overjoyed to have found a puppy living just next door. Ping Pong both acts like and resembles my own dog back home, Sophie, so as our friendship continued, I progressively became more and more attached. You can imagine my deep sadness when I discovered he had ingested something toxic, as his owner explained he might not make it through the night. We have moved him into the house and onto a blanket that should provide warmth and comfort.

In all seriousness, I am asking for prayers for Ping tonight. The team and I care about this puppy and so does He.
