Honestly, the Race is a journey of overcoming obstacles in order to love others and impact lives.
In a story, characters can’t grow unless they face the things they don’t want to face.
The Race is like this.
Racers have to identify in themselves the doubts or insecurities that may be holding them back from giving all they have to impact others.

But the reward is often times less sexy than we dreamt of. Overcoming a lie may lead to you being bold enough to pray over a trucker in a filthy port, who later shows up to church for the first time.
Saying no to the comforts of home may lead you to be a rock for someone in the midst of inexplicable grief.

It isn’t always extravagant but it’s always impactful.

Even something as simple as painting the toes of the young girls and women who do nothing but constantly serve all those around them. You get to remind people all over the world that the God of the universe has a crush on them. He’s head over heels for you. And in the simplest of ways, that’s the most powerful message you could ever send.

If you want to check in on the squad and the stories they’re creatively telling in their first few weeks on the Race, head over to my Facebook page and I’ll be sharing some.

Thank you all for the support, and as always, adventure on!
