A time for reflection, relaxation, and adventures! This past week we traveled to Baños in Ecuador to take a week off of ministry and reflect on the first month, how it went, what we have done, what we want to change, what expectations were met and those that weren’t. We had sessions where our leaders and coaches got vulnerable, and told us things I know weren’t the easiest to say, they told us where they’ve been and how they got to where they are, they are all truly an inspiration. We worshiped almost everyday and as most of you know that’s when I feel closest to God I feel that He really speaks to me through music. I met many people, I even met one individual in a tattoo shop (my squadmate was getting her nose pierced) who I then found out had a burrito shop, we got to build a relationship with him! We also were right across from a restaurant called “Cafe Good” where we all went and hung out and got to know the owners and people working there! Also I’m pretty sure I have consumed more coffee in the last week than that of my entire lifetime.(: not only did I make relationships with people there and learn more about God, myself and my teammates and squadmates I also got to do some fun adventurous things! One day we went to go paragliding but the wind wasn’t cooperating so instead we had a photo shoot on a mountain side and just hung out with each other and it ended up being a really fun day despite the fact we didn’t get to go paragliding! I also got to go zip lining and that was so fun and cool and although I have done it before this was very different than anything I have ever done, I got to hang upside down, as well as do “Superman” and give those around me piece of mind, that their gear was good, that the guides knew what they were doing, and that everything was going to be okay! Then on adventure day we went canyoning and for those of you that don’t know what this is GO LOOK IT UP (we went with geo tours) so fun! We jumped, repealed, ziplined, swam in waterfalls saw Gods creation up close and personal! It was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Thanks God for surrounding me with these crazy, loving, and adventurous people! Thanks God for giving me an experience of a lifetime and thanks God for helping us seek all the good things in every situation!

I could still use some prayers for clarity and strength. Also my squad and I could use prayers as we go back to Quito to continue ministry!
