From jungles to cities, I am so excited to explore this beautiful country! It is a diverse population where every religion is represented. Abandoned castles, pirate cities and the Panama Canal are some of the places I’ll get to visit during my free time with my squadmates.
Our time here will include focus on community outreach, children’s ministry, evangelism, local church ministry and unreached people groups. Many indigenous tribes are scattered across the country throughout rainforests while other South Asian immigrant populations reside in the emerging capital city. You may see a post of me working on a coffee farm in the misty volcanic valleys one day and connecting with University students in the community the next.
I am excited to explore the beaches and snorkel because Panama has three times higher biodiversity than the United States, Canada and Europe combined. How fun! I can’t wait to share the ways in which I learn more about other cultures and people groups and use the love of Jesus to unite us!
