Hey there! I’m Sandra Katebe but most know me as Sandy. I am a born pastors kid, which just means I was born into the roll and I didn’t just fall into it. I became a christian in High School after attending a group called F.O.C.U.S and it definitely got the ball rolling in my life. Though it took me some years to really get to know what being a christian really is all about. Some months back I decided to really follow the path God has for me. I was just down in the dumps and feeling like my life is going nowhere. I felt like I wasn’t living for God and not really living at all. I’d go to work, then school and then home to decompress. As you can imagine, not much was going on in my life. So I began searching and searching and searching for something I can do to break that cycle. At first I wanted to go on a retreat and really have a one on one time with God away from it all to see where He needs me because surely this couldn’t be it. One day I was on facebook and an ad popped up about early registration for this thing called World Race. At first, I thought “I could never do that.” then I took that leap of faith and decided to fill out the application. Next thing I know after my interview I’m getting another call saying “you’ve been accepted!” Now I’m ready to embark on this journey that God has entered me in and just ready to see what He has in store for me.
