From June 4-June 14 I was lucky enough to hang out with 24 of the greatest people a girl could ask to travel the world with, along with our incredible leadership team. To put into words all that I received in those 10 days is too difficult to conquer. Each day held new surprises, ranging from bug bites, tent tear down and set up (over and over), snakes, outdoor showers, an entire night spent in the airport, eating with our hands, and laughing so hard it hurt. In the last 10 days- I experienced life abundantly. In these days, our squad of 24 was split into 4 teams of 6- and this perhaps, is why I keep stating that my time spent in Georgia was so worthwhile.
So, here is a glimpse of who my family will be starting in August.
Meet L Squad:
Meet team chaírontai pánta (rejoice always)
From left to right-
Taylor Flickinger aka Flick (https://taylorflickinger.theworldrace.org),
yours truly,
Tori Field (https://torifield.theworldrace.org),
Thomas Pond (https://thomasfpond.theworldrace.org),
Sarah Geis aka Geis Geis Baby (https://sarahgeis.theworldrace.org),
and Nicole Murray (https://nicolemurray.theworldrace.org)
These 5 people will be constantly by my side starting in August- and I could not be more excited about it. They are FULL of laughter, jokes, references from The Office, wisdom, talent, curiosity, and joy. They are men and women who chase after the Father and strive to live a life of the beloved.
Here are a few more of my favorite photos of these guys and a sweet picture of our living space from TC-
For the next 6 weeks, I will be preparing to leave the known and comfortable to travel the world with these peeps. I am ecstatic to know them and to be able to serve alongside them.
As always- thanks for taking time out of your day to invest in and see what I am up to. I am honored to have such a community of friends and family who want to stay updated!
xoxo
