1 Corinthians 9:22-23
22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
Man, man, man what a crazy but awesome 10 days I have just had. Throughout training camp God showed me some awesome things and possibly even more awesome people. From the very start of TC they decided to tell us who our teams would be and I got so blessed. While i truly do love all of P squad the 5 people I will be getting to spend my next journey on are definitely top shelf folk. During this time together we got to go deep and really know one another, this people have truly become family and as I sit here writing this only a few days after I already miss them so bad. My phone is always going off from either the snap chat group, the group chat, or even personal messages to one another, and I love the community God has blessed me with. At TC we spent countless hours in sessions learning more about what missions, community, and intimacy look like, spoiler they are all great, 10/10 would recommend. These people I have come to know are only a part of that though. Another huge part of this was what God has done to my heart. The Holy Spirit does crazy things always but man does it get insane when you let him work in you. Peoples lives were being changed and so many of us were hearing God so clearly. We danced, cried, and fell to our knees because of the great power our Savior has. I learned what it meant to trust God and to never put him in a box because he can do all things and so can I through him. Due to how much he showed me and how changed my life has been i felt called to baptism during TC. I was blessed to have one of my team mates and new family member/best friend do it for me. His name is Tanner(he does his own tattoos) and man was it awesome. My only advice coming out of this amazing experience is to be vulnerable with one another and not only during training but life. By stepping out I had the opportunity to love on so many people and hear God lead me to a type of peace i have never felt. God calls us to live life with one another and to show love. “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35 So i challenge all of you to live out to glorify God and spread love. Nothing bad comes from love and nothing good from bitterness.
