So today marks one year since I left the United States and started this journey on the World Race. Month one was El Salvador and it was the beginning to a continuous year of growth, healing, transformation, forgiveness and life in a new heavenly perspective.
I could never have imagine or prayed to have learned and become the woman of God I am today and I am forever grateful to God for chosen me for this incredible journey. This adventure that He hand picked myself, my squad, leadership and so many more amazing people for, will forever be a milestone in my life.
I will never forget the lessons I have learned, the people who have a very special place in my heart and have forever changed me. It was a season that I am thankful for saying yes to and fighting every step of the way for. A season where I lost let go of control and also lost my sister and died but I gained a intimate relationship with the Trinity that has changed the way I look at the world and love. I gained a new community of people who continue to love me through pray and friendship.
With the ending of that amazing season, new seasons are on the horizon, starting with transitioning from this blog to my personal blog page. A year ago when my squad mentor walked up to me and asked me to be the squad’s story-leader, I never would have thought that I would enjoy blogging in the way that I do now.
I use to think blogging was for people who needed to share their lives with others and I could not understand why but now with a more heavenly perspective, I have learned the value of blogging for Christ. So many lives have been transformed by all the words that have been written and I can not wait to see where the Lord takes all the words He is going to give me to share with the world.
Thank you to EVERYONE…EVERY SINGLE person who donated, prayed and encouraged me through comments and prays. Thank you, because of you I am a forever changed, because of you, I was able to see The Trinity in a new way, a way that has changed me and awakened a boldness to share Jesus, Love, Truth with the WORLD. Because of you, I am able to love my family and friends with grace and treat them the way that Jesus has called me to; because of you, I had the courage to share my raw testimony, not only with my mom but with the world and it has set me free in ways that are still to be seen.
Thank you for believing in the great commission and the calling the Lord has on your life and mine.
