Sometimes I sit down to write a blog and don’t even know where to start because so much has happened. I joke that time on the Race is multiplied by 4. A week feels like a month, a month feels like three. I’m convinced time feels was because so much happens in short amounts of time. Also, because you share space with your community 24/7 so relationships deepen a lot quicker, making it feel like you’ve been friends forever instead of just 2 or 3 months.

All that to say, the Lord has been doing so many incredible things and I want to share some highlights.

  • One of the guys on my squad was healed. He’s had a bulging vertebrae his whole life. It threw his whole body out of alignment causing his feet to be crooked and making him walk funny. After being prayed over, the Lord told him to look down. He did and notice his feet were no longer crooked. He spend the next day adjusting to what it feels like to walk with straight feet!
  • We just had a mini conference called Awakening. Two squads came together to fellowship, refresh, refill and be awakened before continuing ministry for the next few month. Hearts were willing and Holy Spirit was moving. 20 – 30  were prayed over just like in Acts 19:1-6 and are now walking in even more Holy Spirit power!
  • I’ve gotten to walk at least 30 people into new levels of freedom in the last two months. That looks like partnering with Jesus to help them identify lies from the enemy that have been influencing their lives and choosing to replace those lies with the truth Jesus died for.
  • I’ve also gotten to give away tools and see the people I lead/have led walk others into that freedom. It’s incredible!
  • I’ve been able to teach a handful of times over the last couple weeks, sometimes seeing Holy Spirit work through me on the spot in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Sometimes giving away tools that I’ve been using for months and months. Always seeing the Lord speak through me, using my words to impact people for His kingdom. His words never return void (Isaiah 55:11).
  • The Lord convicted me of not living from a place of generosity. I may not have much in the way of possessions or finances right now, but, let’s be real, there’s always something to give away! We’re called to sacrificial generosity, not generosity that doesn’t threaten our means to take care of ourselves. That’s where faith gets to be exercised. I’ve just started walking in this more and the Lord has been providing like crazy! He’s given me sweet reunions with friends, new relationship that have blessed me so much, new opportunities – that I wasn’t looking for – dropping into my lap, In the last two months, I’ve had almost $4,000 come in toward my goal. He even provided a phone for me when mine was broken – and I hadn’t even asked for one! I’m convinced I’m His favorite. 😉

It’s been an amazing few weeks. I’m seeing that the more I step into intimacy and obedience, the more momentum comes and I get to see what the Lord is doing and even partner with Him. Lately I can’t get over the fact that God doesn’t need me – not even a little bit – and yet He chooses to allow me to partner with what He’s doing. He WANTS to bring me in and let me experience His goodness at deeper levels. It blows my mind!

Three weeks from today I leave the field to settle in Georgia. My mind is filled with all the things that are coming and what needs to be done. I’ll be in 3 different countries before then and, sometimes, it’s a little overwhelming. I’m sad to leave my squad, but know I’m stepping into exciting things and the Lord is going to take me beyond what I can even imagine.

All these things leave me a little all over the place – and even drained – mentally, emotionally and physically. However, Papa sustains and always gives me what I need. (Jeremiah 31:25)

Thank you, as always, for your prayers and support!

During Awakening I realized that I had representatives from each of the four squads

I’ve been apart of all in the same place at one time. It was pretty cool. 🙂
