It’s been a while so this could be long….Friday was our last day in our village. That night the drama team from the church that we have been working with came over so that we could all say good-bye. We all got together in the living room and they went around and told us thank you and encouraged us. It was so awesome. Then we went around and told them thank you. I cried. They laughed. Then we spent the rest of the night hanging out. We left on Saturday around 11. Most of the morning we got our stuff together and hanging out with the kids. Again when we left…. I cried. Those kids are amazing and I am going to miss them so much.

We started heading for

Palenque. We got here safely. Praise God. We only got lost once and only hit one tree. It took us about 3 hrs. to get here. The brown team was the first to arrive. To bad this wasn’t a race part.

We are staying at Misol-Ha. It is so beautiful. There is a huge waterfall. Words cannot describe. All of the girls are staying in a two bedroom cabin. The guys are in a one bedroom. Yesterday we got to take a shower. A real shower. Not water in a bucket….but an actual shower with hot water. Thank you Jesus.

Today debrief started. We went to a place called Aqua-Azul. Also amazing. There were trails to go on that followed the water. We had a time of worship then split up and went through some questions about our past few weeks. Then we got back together and shared what the Lord was showing all of us.

Today is Laura’s birthday. We got her a hammock and some conchas. Some kind of sweet bread. We had a little surprise party for her. Everyone got together at dinner time and then we showed up and they had balloons and sang Happy Birthday. Lots of fun.
