james 1 vs 2-4 tells us that when trials or troubles come, count it as joy, because in the end it will produce in us character, after the last couple of days, i have really felt what trials are like, and stuff has happened that hasnt been posted, but to sum it up, i have joy, not because i like my team getting robbed and my atm card eaten by a machine, but because i trust my God, that when he promises that with trouble comes character, and its worth the trouble or trial, i need to trust Him. So its rubber meets the road, what is my faith worth, as james would say is it real. i cant forget too quickly what God has done for me to get too down about my situation. i will love these people and serve God as best as i can, not because i feel all happy, but because i do have a joy or peace that surpasses all understanding, an unbeliever would say how can you continue or be happy after what has happened to you, the answer is my God gives me that peace or joy so i can go on and do the things i was sent here to do. i dont want you to think that God isnt still blessing me and my team, just last night we got to antigua the town we will stay in for the nest 3 or so weeks and when we got here a lady named carol, i swear she is an angel from God because her hopitality and grandmotherness is exactly what i and the team needed. she gave us some great vegtable soup and some amazing bread. i loved it, God is great, we are staying at a coffee shop ran by basically americans, i think all the americans in the town go to this place and hang out, they have an english church service on thursdays and basically to sum it up, God is awesome, and he loves us and he is blessing us. i hope to tell you more about what we are doing, we have some general ideas but we go over specifics tonight. so ill post tomorrow and tell you all about it. and by the way i want to thank all of you for your prayers and just thank you for supporting me and my team. we couldnt do this without you and your prayer support. please keep praying, we need it. stay classy planet earth
