OK sorry about not getting a blog up yesterday, but a lot has happened in the last couple of days. First im still not sick and i am feeling your prayers. My team just got done with leading a cell group in the poorest comunity i’ve ever seen. But the people were very receptive and very loving towards us. One of the men invited us to stay with him if we ever need a place to stay and were back in the area. Thanks shane for your postings especially because now i don’t have to check out the scores, was the ranked team Illinois, if so that is cool. The Lord has been teaching me a lot about faith and just trusting Him and relying on the prayer of his saints, so i ask you now if your reading this that before you finish please pray for me and my team as tomorrow we have a major hurdle to get over, we have to make a decsion on how to travel to guatemalla and back to LA. There is a van that is in good shape but a little out of our price range, so pray that as we shop for a vehicle tomorrow that we either find a cheaper van or we are able to get this van for cheaper. We also need prayer for the whole trip as a lot of things are hitting me all at once, like the realization that traveling around the world on the budget we have will be a stretch, but not impossible when we serve a Powerful God. Thanks again for all your prayers and support. And the updates on whats going on with you. Tomorrow we will have, before we go shopping for a car, more intense training and prep for the trip. and as of Sunday morning my group will be on our own for at least a couple of days as we travel to our first destination, so please be prayer for that, maybe to pass the time i’ll have to get out my robe and wizard hat, haha.
