Paul himself had asked for prayer, and was even specific with his requests. He knew and understood the value of being covered in prayer. Even though Paul had healed the sick and raised the dead, he knew that everything he did was possible only because God was working in him. He knew how vital the prayers of others were if he wanted to maintain God’s work in his life. This is practical yet profound. Paul writes “Pray continually… for the days are evil… carry the burdens of others.” No need is too great or too small. It all matters to God and to the rest of your team.
***My prayer request is that my son, Christopher, who is 15, would have a safe flight from KY to FL on the 22nd as we prepare to spend a couple of weeks together. Also, that Jesus would be demonstrated to the fullest through my life to him. I really want to have a good time just loving on my son as we together love on Jesus!!
